Privacy Policy
Draft for review by Seven Bites and its legal adviser before launch. Last updated: 5 October 2026.
Seven Bites respects your privacy and handles personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. This policy explains what we collect when you use our website or order from us, and why.
1. What we collect
- Contact details: your name, phone number and (optionally) email.
- Delivery details: addresses, landmarks, notes for the rider and — only if you choose to share it — your location pin.
- Orders: what you ordered, when, how you paid and your 7Bite Wallet and Coins activity.
- Messages: what you send us in chat, on WhatsApp or by phone.
We do not see or store your card details or bank passwords — payments are handled by our payment partner.
2. How we use it
- To prepare, deliver and support your orders, and to contact you about them.
- To run your account, wallet, coins and referrals.
- To send offers and news — only if you agree, and you can stop at any time in Settings.
- To keep our service safe, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.
3. Who we share it with
We share only what's needed with: our delivery riders (name, phone, address); our payment partner Monnify / Moniepoint (to process payments); SMS, email and messaging providers (to send codes and updates); and our hosting providers. We never sell your personal data.
4. Information kept on your device
Our website stores some information in your browser — your cart, favourites, recent searches and saved details — so the site works quickly and remembers your choices. You can remove it at any time in Settings → Clear my details or by clearing your browser data.
5. How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting, and other personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or until you ask us to delete it.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop us using it for marketing. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
7. Contact us
For any privacy question or request, chat with us, call or email .
